• Acting for a New Zealand amphibious craft parts designer and manufacturer in defending High Court proceedings (sole counsel, on instructions from Keegan Alexander);

 

• Acting for the LEGO Group as New Zealand IP Counsel, responsible for handling the Group’s intellectual property rights portfolio and associated enforcement (sole counsel, ongoing);

 

• Acting for a New Zealand construction company in High Court copyright infringement proceedings brought by a rival (sole counsel, on instructions from Courtney & Co);

 

• Acting for an international furniture designer and manufacturer in copyright proceedings before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court (with Andrew Brown KC, on instructions from James & Wells);

 

• Acting for a large New Zealand honey company in trade mark opposition proceedings before IPONZ and on appeal to the High Court and Court of Appeal (with Greg Arthur KC, on instructions from Duncan Cotterill);
